Data Limit and Space Limit
The Data Limit is the amount of bandwidth your website can use up each month. Bandwidth is used, each time someone views your site, so high-traffic sites generally use up more.
The Space Limit is the amount of memory, which is dedicated to your site and or emails on the server.
If you exceed one, or both limits, in any given month, your site might be suspended; therefore, we warmly recommend checking these parameters from time to time and not ignoring system notifications and warnings.
At any given time, you can upgrade your site to a larger package by paying the difference in prices between your current package to the upgraded one.
In case of exceeding the limit space, erasing old emails, log files, or backup files should be considered, before any upgrade.
Our Reseller Clients (“STAR” packages) can, also, buy extra bandwidth or space, in GB units, according to the noted prices on the site. If you find you are frequently exceeding your data limit, it may be more cost-effective to upgrade your hosting package. You’ll be able to do this by calling our sales department.
Is there a minimum period for a hosting account?
You can choose how long you want to commit – from as little as three months up to two years! We do offer discounts when you buy for longer – it’s our way of saying thanks for your business. Can I install my own applications?
You cannot install any application that requires root or administrator-level access. This is because our web hosting is built on a shared platform. Each physical server is shared between several customers, so we cannot give anyone overall control of it. However, our web hosting packages do include a few preinstalled applications and scripting languages.
You can choose between packages, depending on how many features you need.
