Domain Verification

Organization Verification

What is SSL?
(Secure Sockets Layer)

SSL is a security protocol. The purpose of it is to encrypt the traffic between the server and the client to prevent eavesdropping, modification, or falsification of information.

Domain Verification

A certificate with simple encryption features, usually issued within a few minutes after a verification of a domain’s control is verified by one of several methods.

Organization Verification

A certificate with advanced encryption features, which enables a wider insurance coverage than DV certificates and displays the details of the organization, within the certificate’s characteristics.

Extended Verification

A certificate with advanced encryption features, which reveals the details of the organization in its address line. Recommended for use on sites with a high encryption requirement, such as big trade sites, banks, government sites, etc.

General Comments:

All certificates have 256-bit encryption and differ from each other in several parameters:

Certificate Verification – These “basic” certificates are verified only against the site’s domain name.
In contrast, in “stronger” certificates that intend to provide higher security levels, the issuer of the certificates performs a verification against the company details, such as business certificates and addresses.
The higher and more extensive the authentication requirements, the higher the customer’s trust level, and together with it, a greater chance of making an online purchase through the website..

Security seal – Some certificates allow integrating a seal into the website, proving that the SSL certificate is active.
It is customary to incorporate the seal in areas of sensitive information, to strengthen the sense of security among surfers.
Some certificates allow, in addition, the integration of a dynamic seal, which additionally displays the dates of issue and validity and thereby allowing the surfer to verify that the certificate is valid.

Wildcard-type certificates can secure an unlimited number of subdomains.

Similar to domain purchases, there will be no refunds for purchases of SSL certificates (subject to Chapter 5 of the “Terms of Use” on the website).

VAT must be added, by law, to all prices on this website.

The internal exchange rate between the Israeli shekel and the US dollar is 3.9 NIS to 1 USD.

Payments will be made, in advance, for the entire duration of the certificate’s registration or renewal.

Paying certificates, whose price is 1,000 ILS or more, will be done to the company’s bank account by bank transfer only.
